Short version of Wanoichi (ETC 2018)
🇩🇪 Kion Dojo ist seit 2006 die Anlaufstelle für modernes und groovendes Taiko in Deutschland. Hier unterrichtet Ingmar Kikat auf Grundlage der japanischen Schule Tawoo Dojo, im Westen besser bekannt durch die professionelle Gruppe GOCOO!
Die Workshopreihe Groove Cooking richtet sich an Taiko-Spieler ab 2-3 Jahren Erfahrung, die grundsätzliche Fähigkeiten im Taiko spielen mitbringen.
Groove Cooking richtet sich außerdem an alle, die eine andere Seite am Taiko entdecken wollen: Eine Art Taiko zu spielen, die das volle Bewegungspotential des Körpers nutzt und dabei stets die Verbindung zum Groove und Beat herstellt. So zu trommeln macht nicht nur sehr viel Spaß, es verbessert auch das allgemeine Rhythmusgefühl, Zusammenspiel und Timing der Trommler untereinander, unabhängig vom Taiko-Stil.
Zum ersten Mal gibt's diesmal Groove Cooking über 3 Tage! Wir beginnen mit einigen Basics-Übungen, spielen Sessions in denen auch Improvisation geübt wird und werden später in das Stück Wanoichi von Kaoly Asano (Gocoo) einsteigen, das sie dieses Jahr auf der European Taiko Conference (ETC) unterrichtet hat. Dabei werden wir im Unterschied zur ETC die komplette Version des Stücks (7,5 Min) üben.
Teilnehmen können sowohl Trommler mit Wanoichi-Vorkenntnissen, also auch solche ohne! Wer die Kurzversion von Wanoichi schon auf der ETC gelernt hat, hat auch die Wahl, erst zur zweiten Hälfte des Workshops ab Samstag Nachmittag hinzuzustoßen.
🇬🇧 Since 2006 Kion Dojo is the place for modern „groove“-taiko in Germany. In Kion Dojo Ingmar Kikat teaches taiko based on Tawoo Dojo in Japan, better known in the west for their professional performance group GOCOO!
The "Groove Cooking" workshops are aimed at taiko players with 2-3 years of experience or more, that have gained basic taiko skills.
Furthermore, Groove Cooking is aimed at everyone who is willing to discover another side of taiko: A way of drumming, that uses the full potential of your body movement and at the same times establishes a connection to the groove and the pulse. Drumming in this way is not only a lot of fun, it also improves your general sense of rhythm, playing together and timing within yourself and the group, independently from your style of taiko.
For the first time Groove Cooking will be 3 days! We will start with some general basic drills, do some sessions with improvisation and then we will dive into Wanoichi, a piece taught by Kaoly Asano (Gocoo) at the European Taiko Conference (ETC) 2018. In Groove Cooking we will attempt the complete piece, which is 7,5 minutes long.
Participants can join either with knowledge of Wanoichi or without. Participants with experience in Wanoichi may also decide to only join the second half of the workshop from Saturday afternoon.

Zahlbar innerhalb von 3 Wochen nach der Anmeldung. Wenn der Betrag bis dahin nicht überwiesen wird, wird der Teilnahmeplatz wieder freigegeben.
Stornierungsbedingungen
Nach dem 12.07.2018 gilt eine Stornierungsgebühr von 25% des Workshoppreises. Bei Absage ab 1 Tag vor Workshopbeginn oder Nichterscheinen gilt 100% Stornierungsgebühr.

Cancellation
After July 12 the cancellation fee is 25%. If you cancel 1 day before the workshop or later, the cancellation fee is 100%.
